Gosport Football Club brave the freezing Solent to raise money for Duchenne Muscular Dystophy.

On New years day, Gosport Football Club Volunteers took a dip in the freezing Solent at Stokes Bay to raise as much money as they could for Action Duchenne.

We at Pink Skip Hire do what we can for this charity as its something that is very close to our hearts.

This is a heartbreaking condition ,which effects young boys. Families struggle to cope with the diagnosis and day to day management of this condition.

Young men die early in late teens or are left wheechair bound and unable to move unaided.

The hope for families for the future is development/new treatments that can slow or stop DMD in its tracks, which is why we need to raise as much money as we can.
